LET’S BE OURSELVES TOGETHER | THOUGHTS OF MARLIE
‘Achter de luikjes van onze gedachten gaan veel verhalen schuil’. Dat was de titel van mijn vierde boekje met positieve, diepzinnige en inspirerende gedachten. Alle bladerboekjes vonden hun weg naar lieve mensen, om het zelf te behouden of om als cadeau weg te geven. Waar ik ook kom, op veel plekken zie ik het boekje wel ergens op een tafeltje liggen om rustig door te bladeren of heel bewust met een pagina open voor een speciale gedachte voor die dag. Daar ben ik best trots op.
Na deze vierde uitgave was het een tijdje stil. Mijn leven nam een wending en na de pandemie wist ik samen met manlief een nieuw leven op te bouwen onder de Spaanse zon. De transformatie naar een nieuw tijdperk waar meer ruimte is voor spirituele groei, bewustwording én meer rust om te creëren. Zo kwam deze vijfde editie tot stand.

Het heeft iets minder bladzijden (30), maar heeft nog steeds kleurrijke (veelal eigen) foto’s en met nu zelfs op elke bladzijde een gedachte. ‘Behind the shutters of our thoughts are many stories’. That was the title of my fourth booklet of positive, profound and inspiring thoughts. All the leaflet books found their way to dear people, to keep for themselves or to give away as gifts. Wherever I go, I see the book somewhere on a table to leaf through quietly or quite deliberately with a page open for a special thought for that day. I am quite proud of that.
After this fourth issue, things were quiet for a while. My life took a turn and after the pandemic, I managed to build a new life with hubby under the Spanish sun. The transformation to a new era where there is more room for spiritual growth, awareness and more peace to create. That’s how this fifth edition came about.
For those who know my booklets, this one is a little different. It has slightly fewer pages, still colorful photos and my thoughts are expressed in English. The handy spiral binding makes it fall open easily. With ‘Let’s be ourselves together’, I hope to use my insights to make readers in foreign-speaking countries also more aware of our beautiful earthly existence as well.
